Our story began at the East Potomac Golf Links Driving Range, where Joey and Ben made feeble attempts to improve their golf game. Instead of focusing on their swing, they turned their attention to their stomachs, which were in desperate need of nourishment. Naturally, one thing led to another, and the conversation turned to sandwiches. Joey had been experimenting with baking a variety of sandwich breads, and Ben was thinking of all the ways to use Joey’s delicious bread. The next thing they knew, they owned a sandwich pop-up.
